If you want to dig into some of the 100 Ways, Drawdown partnered with Northwest Earth Institute for a bunch of challenges. Some of the challenges are quite informative, and over the past few weeks several thousand people have participated.
Below is some of the impact, including 107,555 lbs of CO2 saved; 352 donations; 14,839 meatless meals; 56,156 gallons of water saved; 63 hours volunteered; and 872 public officials contacted!
But the challenge ends April 25th, so check it out soon if you're interested!

You can find the latest impact statistics from the challenge here.
Let us know how it goes!
If you've read the "about" section you'll know a bit about why the 100 Ways project exists.
What isn't answered is why it's taken so long to get started.
A combination of:
-Reaching out to other places involved to see if we could collaborate (lots of positive reactions, but everyone has different timelines so nothing concrete after months);
-Trying to get some sort of graphics (almost done! learning!!); and
-The attempt to feature people around the world, and have articles written by people from diverse voices around the world (takes way more time and resources than you'd expect, a lot for a small side project!)
There's been so-so success with the above, but I worry if it draws out much longer it just won't happen.
Done / started is better than perfect.
So, today on Earth Day 2018, we're officially "launching" 100ways.org
What does that mean?
For starters, regularly sharing articles written about each of the 100 ways, featuring people/organizations, and ways people can plug into it.
How you can help
Please let us know if you're available to write or have people / organizations we can feature.
But most importantly, please learn, read, and share so we can all do our part in protecting the environment.
Happy Earth Day!
If you're curious, this is our basic plan
PS. If you end up doing any of the actions because of this site, we’d love to hear about it in the comments. Maybe we can add everything up and measure out our collective impact.
